Narayana Software Limited is referred to as Narayana Software, We, Us, Our.
The Client is referred to as The Client, You, Your.
Narayana Software commits to:
Provide the client our services such as website design, development, graphics/logo design, presentations design, book layout/design, database design/management, mobile applications, and general software applications, as required by the client, that perform the functions detailed in the agreed project specifications, and any additional functionality in the change specifications of the project.
Perform all services professionally in a timely, efficient manner
Respond to all client queries professionally in a timely, efficient manner
Collaborate with the client in the process of design/development
Provide a quote or estimate, prior to undertaking any new project for clients and start work only upon approval of the quote or estimate by the client
Provide a quote or estimate, prior to undertaking any additional work required to complete the project, that has not been agreed upon and not stated in the initial project specifications
Employ our best efforts to remedy any functional issues after the website is developed
Provide support free of charge for up to a month after the website is live
Provide quality service and maintain customer satisfaction
As client, you commit to:
Promptly respond to our requests for logos, text content, branding, images, and any other information we require to complete your project
Follow our instructions relating to the formats in which we require this information, so that we can work effectively
Promptly respond to our requests for feedback and approval of design concepts in writing
Ensure that any employee or agent of yours or your company / business / organisation, dealing with us is authorised to make decisions relating to the project, on behalf of you or your company / business / organisation
Be responsible for making Narayana Software fully aware of the project functionality requirements prior to commencing the project
Ensure that the requirements of the project are listed in the project specification for any new or additional functionality.
Note: Narayana Software will not be obligated to undertake any additional functionality requests that are not listed in the project specification. If additional functionality is needed after the project has commenced, then its requirements will have to be provided separately and if they are within the technical scope of Narayana Software, they will be quoted on and agreed to before work on those aspects commence.
Your website will be based on the template detailed in the project specification. Any change in template or design after the project is under way will incur an additional charge (Refer to our quotes for Consultancy services)
Approvals from the client to be made in writing
Once the website is completed, we will train the client or their authorised person or persons, on administering and using the website
Uploading of contents are not included in the project – they will be charged separately (refer to quotes for Website Maintenance / Consultancy services)
A message ‘Webdesign: Narayana Software’ will be placed in the footer of our client’s website. We may also choose to feature your website in our portfolio on our website, and/or other electronic/print media
Narayana Software takes no responsibility whatsoever for issues relating to copyright infringement based on text, images or any other material provided to us, and will act on the instruction of the client. It is the client's responsibility to take reasonable steps to ensure the content they provide is not under copyright. If it is found that we have been supplied with materials under copyright and are instructed by court authority to take the content down, we will of course comply. The client will absorb all costs related to copyright infringement, including development time to comply with court requests.
If you wish to integrate any third party software with your website, Narayana Software takes no responsibility whatsoever for issues relating to the suitability, functionality, or compatibility of that software with the website. Narayana Software will not perform any third party software integrations as part of their service.
All photography and graphics for the website are to be supplied by the client at the client's expense. Any photography or graphics already in the template can be included free of charge.
Narayana Software is not responsible for obtaining listings for your website on google or any other search engines. This is a separate field from web design, called Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). If you need help with SEO it will be done at additional charge (please refer to our quotes on Consultancy services).
The background of the site will appear differently from computer to computer, based on the resolution that is set. Our websites are optimised to show on majority of the computers and browsers.
Colours differ from computer to computer, based on individual visitors' colour and monitor settings. Likewise, colours may appear differently when viewed on mobile devices.
Fonts may appear differently from browser to browser, based on browser settings, computer settings, or the due to limitations of the browsers themselves.
Prices quoted are fair and may be less than the prevailing market rates, making it as affordable as possible.
Before commencing your project, a 40% deposit of the project package price is required. This deposit is non-refundable, as it would cover for initial consultation, design work and any purchase of software etc. made to assist with the design process by Narayana Software.
The remaining 60% of the project package payment will be invoiced when the project is completed. Note this is not the launch or "go live" phase, which will occur once the content is loaded.
Additional functionality may be invoiced as it is completed, or in a combined invoice with the project package remainder.
All invoices are due 7 days from the invoice date unless otherwise mentioned.
In extreme cases of continued non-payment, we reserve the right to engage our collections agency to obtain outstanding funds. In such cases, the client will pay any associated collection costs.
